Lasagne or Lasagna is a dish prepared by layering broad-pieces of pasta with a sauce. There are a wide variety of toppings that range from seafood, to vegetables, ground beef and cheese. Usually, the lasagna is often made from a meat mixture with vegetables, which is often cooked with added sauce like tomato or white sauce, layered first with pasta and cheese. Once all the ingredients are layered, it is then baked in the microwave or oven that causes the noodles to take-in the flavor from the sauce, which allows the cheese to become lightly brown and melt on top.
This dish was said to be originated in Italy, but the term “Lasagna” is from the Greek word “Lasanon” that “means chamber pot”. Everybody loves to eat Lasagna, so here are some of Lasagna’s easy recipes.
The Inexpensive Lasagna:

For 6 servings: ½ kilo ground beef 1 300g can tomato puree 1 400g tomato sauce 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 teaspoon instant beef stock 1 cup hot water 125g uncooked lasagna 1 ½ cups grated quick-melt cheese Combine the ground beef, tomato sauce, tomato puree, instant beef stock and garlic. Put butter on a shallow baking dish large enough for the dish. Make layers of the meat mixture, the uncooked noodles and cheese. Repeat the layering of the remaining ingredients. Bake loosely covered in the microwave at Full power for 30 minutes, or cover and bake at 180C for 45 minutes, adding the cheese and cooking uncovered for the last 5 minutes. Leave to stand at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Drain them thoroughly then lay it on a waxed paper to avoid from sticking to each other. Heat up a large nonstick dish over a high heat. Add the ground beef, cook for about 3 minutes, and then put the meat in a plate while removing any fat residue in the pan. Put oil to the same pan over medium heat, and then cook the mushrooms until it begins to brown for about 5 minutes. Return the previously cooked meat to pan and add in 2 cups of tomato sauce. Let it simmer for 2 minutes. In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, ricotta cheese, pepper, salt, egg and nutmeg. Pour and spread a cup of tomato sauce on the base of a baking dish. Place the first layer of noodles on top, and then spread-out half of the ricotta cheese mixture on top of noodles and layer again with noodles before spreading half mushroom and beef mixture. Repeat the layering and top the last layer of noodles with the meat sauce, and then dust with grated cheeses. Bake loosely with foil for about 45 minutes but uncover it for the last 20 minutes.
